A good majority of people are disappointed with their current state of being because there were expectations that were not fulfilled, and life isn't quite what they thought it would be. I know how you feel, man. I've been there and taken careful analysis of why it is so difficult for me, but seems seamless for others, to transition from the carefree days of the past into the present, long awaited opportunities of adulthood. It is comfortable to hold on to what is familiar, and more still, it is frightening to move into the unknown.
